Should I file a claim?

A few calm questions to help you choose your next step. Nothing is required. This does not replace your policy, your carrier, or emergency help.

Quick rule: if anyone may be hurt, there is active danger, or another person’s property is involved, slow down and get help before worrying about the paperwork.

What happened?

Check anything that applies. Skip anything you are not sure about.

Someone may be hurt, or I am not sure. The car, home, jobsite, or property is not safe right now. Another driver, neighbor, customer, worker, landlord, or other person is involved. The damage looks major, growing, or hard to estimate. This involves my business, a jobsite, employee, customer, or work vehicle. It looks minor and no one else is involved. I am honestly not sure what to do.
